2009 STELLAREESE CABERNET SAUVIGNON

The 2009 vintage of Stellareese Cabernet is infused with inspiration. On harvest day, we walked the entire vineyard tasting the grapes with our newborn in tow. Juice dripping off our chins and giddy with delight, we couldn't imagine the grapes tasting any better than they did at that moment. If it's possible to bottle the spirit of a vineyard, then our 2009 Cabernet is the result.

In keeping with Marcey's vineyards signature traits, the wine exudes a floral palate with subtle hints of lavender, violets and garden roses. The mid palate is ripe with black and blue berries, cassis and baking spices. The tannins are fine grained and supple. And the wine finishes with dark cocoa and a whisper of graphite.
